Are you looking for an all-around product? Try the miracle-working cleaner, Hydrogen Peroxide (3%).
If you’re like me, you’ve had a brown bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide in your bathroom cabinet most of your life. Until recently, I thought it was only for scraps and cuts. It is actually no longer recommended by doctors- ummmm…. WHAT? So what is this stuff used for then?
When I was researching natural and healthier cleaning product options I was surprised to find Hydrogen Peroxide at the top of many lists. This amazing product has so many uses and is unbelievably affordable. And, if you’ve looked at natural and organic cleaning products, you know that is not always the case, many can be very expensive. As you’ll learn I like cheap and easy to find products instead.
First, there are various potencies. Here we will be discussing the 3%, most commonly sold in stores. It will be used to disinfect and eliminate all bacteria, not just to clean or wipe down counters. There are so many uses for this product I would have never have thought of. I’ve recently started using this product for my whole house, it saves me time and a ton of money. I can use one spray bottle and clean almost my entire house Here are some of my favorite uses for the miracle-working cleaner, Hydrogen Peroxide (3%).
Pour H2O2 into a spray bottle, spray, leave a few minutes and wipe down (inside and out)
- Cutting boards

OTHER USES FOR THE MIRACLE CLEANER
Adding a little baking soda to the Hydrogen Peroxide makes this an even more effective cleaning agent for stains, mildew, and mold.
Make a paste with roughly 2 parts baking and one part H2O2, apply to stain or area, leave a few minutes and wipe down. This can be used on:
- Grout lines
- ANYTHING white
- Stains on floor tiles and backsplashes
Finally, as with any product you’ve never used, test a small area before using, this is especially important with fabrics, exotic tiles, and countertops. This is just a shortlist of the cleaning I’ve actually used H2O2 in my house for recently. I love this cheap and natural option of deep cleaning my house.
